Amber Cove Dominican Republic was our second stop on the cruise. This port was near the city of Puerto Plata and was designed for specifically for cruise ships. At the pier you have all the necessities you need such as shopping for gifts, restaurants and bars to satisfy any cravings along with a giant pool with a lazy river. Zip lining and water slides highlighted the the things to do side of the port experience. I spent the day shopping and having a nice lunch at the local restaurant. There are also some beautiful views if you decide to climb up to the top where the zip line starts. Check out the pictures below.
